Tibetan Nomad Tours

Camp with Nomads

nomadtentJoin one of our tours to experience nomadic culture in Tibet. Nomadic culture is decreasing around the world, and Tibet offers one of the last great ways to experience this ancient lifestyle.

We are developing a program starting in 2010 that will benefit the nomad camps we tour to with tents and stoves. We are also looking into other ways we are able benefit these people and the environment.old Tibetan Lady

Tibetan Connections is commited to eco friendly tours that are responsible for the environment as well as the people we visit. Our trips do not merely take from this great land and people, but we give back by providing necessities for families we visit. We encourage our customers to live amongst these nomadic families learning their way of life. You will have opportunities to work with Yaks, make cheese, eat traditional food, and sleep in traditonal Tibetan style tents.
